We see ourselves in them and we smile. Since 1990 when she began making dolls of cloth, Joyce has created over 750 one-of-a-kind and limited edition dolls, many of them award winners. She readily admits to being a very prolific doll maker! Joyce confides that, even after all this time and creating so many dolls, she enjoys doll making even more today than when she began. And there are many, many more doll ideas dancing in her head waiting to "materialize"!………no pun intended!

If one were to consult the dictionary, Mr. Webster would say a doll is a child’s small toy representing a human being.
