The 17” doll was commissioned as a gift for a daughter who is interested in this period of European history. The doll is dressed in a costume of velvet with faux jewels and her jeweled crown sits on top of a tulle headpiece. Her matching shoes are embellished with fleur de lies representing her home country of France. A second daughter, also interested in this period history, received a custom doll representing Empress Matilda.
