Anne Bonny
Anne Bonny

Inspired by a female pirate of the 1700’s, the 17” one-of-a-kind doll is seated on a wooden chest. Her hair is Tibetan lamb and she is dressed in a black velveteen coat, ruffled white blouse and blue cotton pants with a colorful sash at the waist. She wears a black tri-corner felt hat and black leather boots. A pistol is secured in her leather belt and a sword rides in a black leather scabbard over her shoulder. She holds a large knife in one hand and a smaller one is hidden in the top of her boot. Anne Bonny was created in 2007 for the TAODA (Texas Association of Original Doll Artists) juried Gallery show, “Sinners & Saints and Wisecracking Women.”
