I had never entered a doll in a Costuming competition before, but I figured I had spent so much time hand beading her lace overdress that I should give it a try. I was delighted when she was awarded a Blue ribbon and Best of Category rosette in the Professional Costuming category at DISCOVER! 2005, in Washington, D.C. To make it even more exciting, she was also awarded the Jones Publishing Company’s Crystal Globe Award for Costuming Group at the Awards Banquet.
