I was invited to enter a doll in the December 2005 Doll Festival held in Ekaterinburg, Russia. The theme for the festival was “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and was dedicated to the Beatles. I was asked to create and ship my interpretation of John Lennon to the Festival. Happily, he received the President’s Choice award.
