“Mae” is my interpretation of the actress with attitude, Mae West. She is dressed in black sequined fabric with a ruffled bodice and black feather boa trim. She wears a black hat with red feathers, a long black feather boa and carries a large fan of red feathers. She’s also wearing lots of faux diamonds. This 17” one-of-a-kind doll was created in 2007 for the TAODA juried Gallery show, “Sinners & Saints and Wisecracking Women.”
