Madame Vadoma was my entry in the 2009 Treasures of the Gypsy Challenge Exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival. She is dressed in a beaded costume and is holding a brass tray filled with the tools of her trade as a Fortune Teller. Included on the tray are miniature Tarot cards, palm reading chart, crystal ball and brass tea pot and cup for reading tea leaves.
