Lounging in a metal lawn chair, she tries to cool her hot flash with a bag of ice and a church fan while sitting in front of a battery-operated fan with soft plastic blades. Sound familiar to anyone? She is dressed in cottons and purchased shoes. Her hair is mohair and her perspiring face is hand-painted. Height is 13" seated. Created for the "In Celebration of the Doll" Exhibit at the 2004 Houston International Quilt Show.
