“The Butterfly Collector” is my 2007 Hoffman Fabric Challenge entry and has been selected to travel for one year with the touring exhibits of dolls, quilts and wearables that feature the Challenge fabric. The butterfly print fabric was used for her camp shirt and sun visor and to cover the stand. She also wears khaki shorts, a T-shirt and leather hiking boots. She is holding a butterfly net ready as she spots a pink-winged butterfly on her visor.
