This was my competition entry at the 2005 UFDC National Convention in Philadelphia, PA. The mandate was to create Philadelphia’s favorite flag maker, Betsy Ross. She was awarded a Blue ribbon in the Modern Competition, Made by Exhibitor category. She was also awarded a Blue ribbon and an Outstanding rosette in Adult Fine Art, Soft Sculpture category, at the October 2005 Brazoria County Fair in Angleton, TX.
