The old balloon vendor sits on a painted wooden stool waiting for someone to stop and buy his balloons. The vignette includes a purchased wicker cart filled with brightly painted balloons on wire "strings" and a resin wicker box. He is dressed in cottons with applied leather boots and a felt hat. The face is hand-painted and his hair is mohair. Height is 15" seated; with balloons is 17".
